# Prerequisite and resources

Before you get started, you must:

* **Request a Mirakl Connect test account** to access the Mirakl Connect platform and test your integration.
* **Request the Mirakl Connect channel APIs credentials**. For more information refer to the [Authentication](/content/product/connect-channel-platform/developer-guide/authentication) section.
* **Configure the Events integration**. For more information refer to the [Event configuration](/content/product/connect-channel-platform/developer-guide/event-configuration) section.
