# Release notes

This page records what changed in the Channel Platform APIs, in the events, and in this documentation.

Each entry groups its changes under a label:

- **Added**: a new operation, a new event, a new field, or a new page.
- **Changed**: a different behaviour, a different constraint, or a page that now states something else.
- **Removed**: an operation, an event, or a field that Mirakl no longer serves.


The [REST APIs reference](/content/product/connect-channel-platform/rest/connect/openapi3) and the [Event APIs reference](/content/product/connect-channel-platform/webhooks/webhook) always describe the contract Mirakl serves now.

#### Documentation

- **Product grouping:** the docs now explain how a channel turns on product grouping, with `behaviors.emit_group_of_products` in [Catalog configuration](/content/product/connect-channel-platform/developer-guide/catalog-configuration#product-grouping).
- **Requirement level of an offer attribute:** the docs now describe the three values of `requirement_level`, and what `REQUIRED` asks of the seller.
- **Impact of the `required` and `optional` lists of a use case:** the docs now explain which offers Mirakl Connect sends, and which fields the `OfferUpsertEvent` carries, on creation and on update.
They also warn against listing an attribute as `required` when the seller does not have to fill it.
